Hands down the best steak! The potatoes were out of this world. We love sitting at the bar before dinner with the amazing cocktails. I celebrated a big life event here and the staff were all so kind in supporting the celebration. This will always be my favorite restaurant in Chicago.

First of all-- I found them from Happy Hour Revolution and did not think that it was nearly as swanky as it is. This place is beautiful. It is every bit of a Chicago style steakhouse and I really enjoyed my experience. Again this is part of my summer oyster tour went well. The oysters were full and meaty. The charcuterie plate delicious. My dirty martini delicious. The bartender took a little time to warm up to us--but it was happy hour and judging by the couple that came in after us--they have a real mixed bag of clientele. We sat at the upstairs bar; a bit less crowded and more private. Also. comfortable bar stools. Close access to the bathrooms. I really enjoyed every part of the experience and will certainly return.

I couldn't have asked for better way to celebrate my mother's birthday! We had reservations at 4:30pm--right when the restaurant opened. Our server Kiwi was superb! She knew the menu and explained everything with care and patience. I have been to Swift many times--but I still like to ask questions, lol. Never hurts, right?! We ended up getting the pound of king crab legs, the crab cake, New York strip, and all the fun sides: mac and cheese, double baked potato, etc. Such a great fare! I want to point out Rodrigo's service! What a great, welcoming guy! We bonded because of our knowledge of Mexico and our roots to the motherland. Rodrigo, gracias colega, por su buen servicio, cariño y atención! Demasiado agradecimiento por la calidad de atención que nos dio! Hasta la próxima! Rodrigo is Latino excellence with elegance and grace. Overall, the best dining experience to date at Swift! Cheers!

Swift and sons is just perfect. Fast service, lovely inside. Came here for my boyfriend's birthday and it was fabulous. The bread they give you to start is amazing, literally the best bread ever. Ordered the usual. Rock shrimp- best app ever and oysters were huge! Macaroni and potatoes always a must. And an 8 oz filet is just perfection, cooked perfect. To end the cookie skillet which was soo gooey and yummy. Will continue to come here again and again!

Had a business dinner here. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and has a very classic upscale steakhouse ambiance. Our group shared a variety of small plates and tried different entrees. The Beef Wellington was the star of the night-- it was presented lovely and is a must-try here. The Bordelaise Sauce addition to the Filet Mignon is another must-try. Also, the Mashed Potato side is simple but surprisingly good and worth getting. The other dishes and sides we tried here were good but not amazing or worth the price.

First let me say I was here for business and I didn't pay (there was 20 of us at 2 tables) I was given a very limited menu so I can't say based on the full menu. The salad was very tasty the sides were good and the salmon was prepared very well. Service was impeccable and the place looked very nice and super clean. With all that said if I had to base coming back here based on what I did eat. I might say no thank you. Based on my coworker who has eaten here many times, I was told I missed out on some of the best steak in the Chicago area. So with that info. I would love to come back to try the steak. I don't normally base my review on limited menus, but sadly my company's customer paid and set the menu. I would be happy to come back again if in the area.

We visited on Saturday night to celebrate my husband's birthday. I had reservation in advance for us. The vibe and ambiance was great. Our server was very polite. We started off with Zero Rose and Old Fashioned. The zero rose was amazing so did the old fashioned. We were served bread and butter on the house with our drinks. For appetizers I had the butter squash vegetarian pasta and my husband had crab cake. Crab cake was delicious. We then ordered a side of green beans, creamed spinach and Ribeye. In the end, our server got us two pieces of gourmet candies with a candle for my husband's birthday. Overall it was a nice experience. I would highly recommend this place and MUST TRY!!!

Mostly good, but not stellar. I came here for restaurant week. Here is a breakdown: -hamachi crudo: 6.5/10. the hamachi had that fishy taste that wasn't very enjoyable. also, the seasoning made this dish too salty for my liking & there was too much passion fruit sauce. -"balena" orecchiette: 8/10. good flavors going on & pasta was cooked to a good texture. however, the sauce was runny. very large portion though!! -beef neck pressé: 10/10. nothing wrong with this dish! the beef was super tender, seasoned well, & idk what they did to the carrots, but they were delish--carrots are typically an afterthought for me! -chocolate mousse: 10/10. lovely texture, not too sweet, candied hazelnuts are a nice touch. basically tastes like ferrero rocher ice cream... YUM! -deep dish cookie: 8/10. good, but kinda too sweet for my liking. i'm glad my friend ordered this and not me. -the BREAD!!! 11/10!!! seriously. most "fancy" chicago restaurants don't give out free bread. u gottaaa try S&S's! the cheese biscuits were especially good--tastes like an elevated red lobster biscuit.
